Salterio secolo XIII
Description by the artist
It is an object carved in two valves to which are applied bridges and metal keys. The sound is silvery and clear, a classic angelic instrument. Used in Sicily, it is depicted in some paintings in Syracuse.

The Salterio takes us back to Arab Sicily (9th-11th century).
