Here it is La Catanesella (the from Catania). Scarf in light cotton fabric, painted with reliefs decoration of Palazzo Biscari in Catania. The scarf wide and light, reproduces in its handmade painting with colors suitable for fabric, the reliefs skillfully modeled by stonemasons and skilled craftsmen of the Baroque period, which rebuilt with a new face the city after the terrible earthquake of 1693.

Palazzo Biscari is a beautiful palace in Sicilian Baroque style in the heart of the city of Catania, a few steps from Piazza Duomo, Via Etnea and the famous fish market. It was built in 1763 and was visited by some of the most famous people of the time, including the writer Johann Wolfgang Goethe on May 3, 1787.
