Print on canvas, with retouching by the artist. Duci (Sicilian for Sweet) is a Dame, who tells through her hairstyle, the art of Sicilian sweets. The latter become real jewels that adorn the entire work. On her head: cannoli, cassatelle and sfince di San Giuseppe; as earrings, Sicilian sfince with sugar and buccellati; on her neck, a necklace of martorana fruit and on her décolleté, the Sicilian cassata.

The Sicilian bakery, for its taste and culture, is considered by many the best in the world. It is very much influenced by the culinary influences of the various dominations: the Arab above all but also Angevin, Aragonese, Bourbon.
