Description by the artist

Classic Sicilian frame drum, diameter 40 cm., with rattles composed of 7 plates in natural tin hammer-edged beaten. Beechwood douglas colored frame obtained from an old sieve. Natural kid leather tanned by hand.  Inspired by the ancient traditions of Sicily. Painted with oil colors and autographed by Vittorio Ribaudo.
