Description by the artist
I love to take walks in this enchanted place, where in its long paths, surrounded by unspoiled nature, It’s like being out of the world. Here I always find inspiration. I love to paint the sea in all its shapes and movements, which so much recall the labor of our lives.

The artwork in the Sicilian culture
Palermo, the capital of Sicily, is closed between the sea and the mountains and its port, already large , seems even more wrapped in headlands and light mountain ranges, around which the beautiful Sicilian city takes place. The Zyz (flower) of the phoenicians (VII-VI century a.C.) is a book of Sicilian history: from the prehistory to today. Capo Gallo, which is a natural reserve, is one of Palermo’s mountains and is located close to Mondello, a renowned seaside resort of Palermo. At its top and also at its base, there is a Lighthouse and the whole mountain is full of caves with engravings and graffiti of all ages. In this view you can see at the bottom the entrance to the natural reserve with the last beautiful houses and the tower of Mondello (1455) that once served to warn the population of the arrival of the pirates.
