The artwork in the Sicilian culture
Agata has hair with the classic decorations of Sicilian majolica. Sicily, cradle of civilization, in the center of the Mediterranean, has given life to very ancient ceramics, with different colors and shapes depending on the area of the island where they are produced. From the prehistoric ceramic through the extraordinary Siceliot production present in museums around the world, to the Arab glazed ceramic to get to the 1400 when you can see a decisive influence of Spanish and Catalan: The blue is combined with yellow, green and manganese. And the story continues until today with the Sicilian production of ceramics that has always been one of the most beautiful, if not the most beautiful, in the world.
