“Art is nothing but imitation of nature, and Sicily is a beautiful land that offers colors and landscapes and iconography to imitate. A mix of stories and traditions that become art, colors. Art is a continuous research, and without new ideas there is no artist. I also like to use recycled materials, such as wood from old boats of Sicilian fishermen”

The opinion of the Governance
Vanessa Cammarata, namely a life for art. She is a multifaceted artist: her training ranges from theater and singing to painting and ceramics. Her creations are nourished by atmospheres and suggestions of the land of Sicily. The subjects, although inspired by traditional iconography, are innovated by refined workmanship, such as oriental Raku ceramics, and a touch of experimentalism that makes them original and intriguing.
