The opinion of the Governance
Maria Francesca Starrabba is a multifaceted artist with a complex and complete cultural background. She has a taste for proportions and harmony from the architect; a predilection for delicate chromatics from the painter; a love for telling the story – not in words but with images – of the history of a territory through corners, landscapes, monuments and works of art that best interpret its soul from the art history teacher. From her refined water colors comes out an “unusual Palermo”, the “travel notebooks” and all her works tran sport us in an atmosphere that is certainly Sicilian, very recognizable, but at the same time universal, like the concept of `Beauty’itself.
